Young Moms

Young Moms is a creatively-named um, club?, group?, loose alliance?, of young moms (mostly college-educated SAHMS) who live in SoCal and go to the same conservative Episcopal church. We meet in the park every week so the kids can run their wiggles out and we can talk to people who form sentences with more than three words. And now we blog together too!

easy crockpot dinner

MOOOOooo-shu Pork:

-In crockpot, mix one cup hoisin sauce with a couple tablespoons of fresh, shredded (or minced) gingeroot.
-Add two pounds of pork chops (or loin).
-cook on low all day.
-take out chops, remove bone pieces, and shred the meat.
-replace meat in pot and mix with sauce.
-serve in flour tortillas with shredded carrots.
-YUM.

We had this last night, and it made enough for leftovers for today's lunch, plus extra meat and sauce to freeze. It was very, very yummy.

-Jess
